Blindspots

Writer's picture: joeshawartistjoeshawartist

Looking at how my eye could fit into talking about my disability more and how my hemianopia events me from driving to do this i started looking at blindspot mirrors, a round convex mirror placed on a car mirror or on the roadside on particular bends  that are difficult to see around.

to test what i could see if drive i sat in the drivers seat while parked in the car park and looked around at what i could see. looking out at the front I couldn’t see anything on the right hand side of the car including out of the wing mirror, if i were to look at the wing miror I would  have to turn to the point that all i could see what what was being reflected. alarmingly I couldn’t see anything that was in front of the car.

Wanting to explore this further I bought myself a Cheap convex bicycle blindspot mirror  to use to test how a convex mirror would affect my projection.
