Bought Matt black paint for the walls of the space as well as black floor paint. I was able to leave the right wall as I am going to cover it in felt later in the install. After painting all the wall I had to, walking around the space, particularly around the right corner the space started felling much darker.
all the walls have now been painted and with only a bit of touching up later on required leaving me able to come in tomorrow and paint the floor
