during the crit it was mentioned that my eye seemed to budge out. this was caused by the convex lense on the theta camera. I was asked if i had considered projecting the eye onto a concave shape to make the eye appear to budge out further After the crit i decided to follow this idea and cast a round concave dome which I could project onto. the shape was similar to the red wall piece I had made during the first year.
projecting the eye onto the convex plaster worked well and made my eye bulge out but I felt it needed to be more prominent to show this I was able to do i projection onto a polystyrene ball i found to which gave the the shape i need for my next attempt with the plaster.
